Our History

1983 – (January 20th) Founded and incorporated Willoughby Supply Company.

1983 – (December 1st) Opened in new 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Wickliffe, OH.

1987 – Purchased first roof top truck for unassisted deliveries.

1999 – Opened 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Mentor, OH.

2000 – Expanded Mentor facility to over 100,000 square feet, continuing our investment in customer service.

2001 – Opened a 30,000 sq. ft. Middleburg Heights facility, expanding our service area west and southwest to better service our customers.

2002 – Opened Akron facility, and one year later, we relocated the Akron facility, moving to a newer 30,000 sq. ft. facility with greater room for expansion, as we continue our focus on servicing our customers as efficiently as possible.

2004 – Opened a 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Canton, furthering our expansion south.

2005 – Opened a 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Elyria, giving our western customers a new location to pickup material.

2005 – Expanded our Akron facility to over 80,000 sq. ft., continuing our investment in customer service.

2005 – Opened 3 locations in Florida – West Palm Beach, Deerfield Beach and Fort Pierce.

2006 – Opened a 25,000 sq. ft. in Wooster to provide another convenient pickup location.

2007 – Major investment of profits spent in 3 areas to ensure that reliable customer service would remain a constant. 

• Equipment - We replaced older as well as the addition of almost 20 trucks to the fleet.
• People - Delivery, Order Entry, Warehouse, Sales, and Administrative Teams.
• Infrastructure - Updated aging computers and phone system.

2008 – Added Gutter Coil & Accessories and Job Site Seamless Gutter Delivery to better serve our customers.

2009 – Began fabricating complete Metal Roof Packages & Commercial Edge Metals “For all your metal roofing needs”.

2009 – Relocated Canton, OH facility to a 40,000 sq. ft. facility at 4900 Southway S.W. to better serve our customers.

2010 – Expanded our superior service in Columbus, OH market.

2011 – Reopened the West Palm Beach, FL branch.

2011 – Opened our first recycling facility in Norton, allowing Willoughby Supply and our customers to reduce the impact on our environment.

2012 – Brought our service area even farther west by opening our 22,000 square foot facility in Norwalk.
